Amelia and I went to a goodwill today and got her a bunch of new books. She mentioned offhand last week that she’s bored of all her books. What a luxury that is. Don’t get me wrong, she has a lot of books. But we’ve gotten in the habit (and she has too) of reading each night, so those numbers add up. I got some classics and some new ones. Altogether I got at least 15 books for less than $30. That’s good savings. It rained today, too, but only a little. I smoked a black & mild on the patio with a hard seltzer while Marie put Amelia to sleep then we watched half a movie, talked, made love, and fell asleep.
