Last day of June. Marie had today off so her and Amelia had a girl’s day. They were going to some pony rides, but like every other time they’ve tried it’s just not open. The opted for a nearby park and a semi-expensive pizza lunch. The day rolled on for me, as did the evening. I made homemade chicken noodle soup. I even made the noodles by hand. It was my first time but I think they came out really nice. After dinner I was cleaning the sink when water started flowing in from the drain. It was brown and stinky. I called maintenance to see if they could fix our clogged disposal, but they said it didn’t constitute as an emergency. I scooped the water into a bucket and dumped it outside so our kitchen wouldn’t reek.
