Marie’s parents celebrated their 30th anniversary today. They had a small catering company set up a picnic for the evening. It was a little ways south of us in a very lovely park. Mansions lined the lake that pressed against the east and west side of the park. It was lovely. We ate then played some outdoor games. Amelia got a little grumpy because we were playing our own games and she felt excluded. I don’t think I handled the situation perfectly because later, as we were taking photos, I got a little grumpy. Marie mentioned it and I worried if I spoiled the evening. I sent her mom a message explaining some things and they were both grateful we were there, grumps and all.
