Going to see my sister for the first time in almost two years tomorrow. I’m really excited. She’s older than me by 4 years and a few months. She lives down in the LA so has had a long few months. She’s fully vaccinated and I’ll be getting my second dose when we return from our trip. It’s past 1:00am and I have to wake up at 7:00am so we can drive 4 hours to Monterey. There is excitement in the air. I am looking forward to a couple days with my wife and my daughter. But, more so, I miss the ocean. I miss it’s shush and spray and sand. I miss the good old days, whatever those even were.
