My friend who did the theatre production also organized a bunch of cool digital workshops. I attended one yesterday about being a (specifically) theatre producer working with friends. It was a very insightful piece about how to set boundaries, how to practice respect through self-respect, and how to create a set of a rules that can be established, followed, changed, and utilized. I walked around the park across the street while I listened and enjoyed some sun. Sat down at a picnic table in the shade to take notes. Watched the field and the life in it. I felt happy and welcome, like this was my neighborhood. Part of me wants to grow old here but part of me wants to see the world. No matter what the future holds I want to use my time here to fight for something better. To use my power and privilege to help.
