Threw up last night so I slept in and started worked later. It was very refreshing since Amelia is still at her grandparents. Marie worked early so I woke up to an empty bed with the knowledge it wouldn’t stay that way. Marie’s parents and sister came over around 2:30pm. Her mom and sister are flying out to Florida since her other sister is about to have another baby. Marie’s dad is spending the night. Smoked a cigar with him and then got ready for bed. Amelia crept into our room in the later evening. Marie and I want desperately to savor this alone time with her dad since he is literally always with her mom, but he has his own dreams for this time. There is a certain melancholy knowing you want to spend time with someone but not knowing how.
