I’m beat, so likely gonna be a short post.
Waking up early is brutal. I find my eyes so heavy I wonder if they’ll even open. The bed doesn’t just suck me in, it locks me in place. And goodness me how my muscles feel.
I sit around all day. To be fair the chairs are high so my feet dangle unless I have them on the bar, and table is at an angle that does kinda make my carpal tunnel flare up. But that’s more related to working out of a non-office space for nearly five weeks.
Part of the exhaustion comes from my poor sleep habits. I get home between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm most nights. Then it’s dinner, wash the kids around 8:30 pm, nighttime routine, then lay then down. By that point I should be going to bed but my fool butt stays up until like 11:30 pm, which means by the time I fall asleep I’ll only be getting like five hours.
That’s just not sustainable. And it’s because I do want that time for myself where I can just relax. It just always comes back to bite my rear the next day when I find waking up to be that much harder than the day before.
