First day back from vacation. Woke up and immediately got to work and didn’t feel as empty as I did before. Got through the day fine with as few hiccups as possible. I miss the beach. Or maybe I just miss the freedom of knowing I’m at the beach. Worked late then dozed on the couch with Amelia playing around me. Pasta for dinner and a black & mild on the porch during the pale blue dusk. Amelia went to sleep normal. Everything is back to the way it was and I am lonely again. I bet most everyone else is, too.
