Marie got me to go look at cars with her again. Our current mule (a 2012 Ford Fiesta) is on its last legs. We got it checked lately and they said we should replace the front left CV axle and the rear struts. Altogether it would cost $1200 including labor. That’s wild. So Marie convinced me that now is the time to just finally get the new car so we don’t keep wasting money in the pit. It really stresses me out so I almost didn’t go, but I’m glad she got me to leave. It certainly took a while, but this time it feels better. The anxiety in me is ready to continue the process in earnest rather than ready for me to turn tail and run.
