My job did a bar night type thing at a place nearby because most all of us are vaccinated. I couldn’t go because I had to watch Amelia. I asked a bit ago if she could come with, but my boss said since she’s not vaccinated I couldn’t bring her. She’s 3. She can’t get vaccinated yet. Just sort of felt like they didn’t want kids, and I understand that. Maybe this was a time where the rules sounded better than the truth. We went to the pool instead. They all left work an hour early to go drink together so I left early to hang with my daughter. Mind you I stayed clocked in until my normal time. I get a little bit of what I want when I want it.
