Sometimes work gets slow. And when it gets slow I’ll catch up and use the extra free time to work on my personal projects. The problem is that sometimes after doing personal work I’ll take a break and then come back to find I’ll have real work. Only the issue is I’m all worked out and I don’t feel motivated to get back to slogging away. It’s an interesting battle and I’ll be interested to see how it stays, strengthens, or disappears when I go back to the office. In the end I wish I could spend more time on my personal projects but know that I’m still chained to this sinking capitalistic ship.
