Marie went out with coworkers last night and drove herself but got too drunk to drive back so I had to pick her up from the city, then we got caught in a McDonald’s drive thru line and she threw up in the parking lot, and then I had to grab a lyft back to our other car so it wouldn’t get in trouble with the city, and then my body was like “hey you’ve been awake for so long you’re on sleepover energy have some more adrenaline,” and then my daughter almost peed the bed, and then it was 5:30am.
Long live the joys of fatherhood.
