Yesterday and today I worked on my professional website and turned it from a blog to more of a portfolio.
It was maybe a little silly to me to see that so far I’ve only had 3 pieces published under my name, one of which I can’t really access online anymore. That one was like a publishing house that reached out to a bunch of people who had just gotten published around 2017 and asked them to submit. Then I did and got accepted, but they never even sent me a physical copy. I would’ve had to spend $20 to get a book where I had a 300 word story. A little silly to me. Altogether, though, I’m proud I updated everything because it’s another step towards professionalism—another step toward the future I want for myself.
