Been shirking my hiring responsibilities at work because I just don’t care. Yes having a bigger team means I’ll stress about scheduling less, but at the end of the day the work just doesn’t mean anything to me. My boss says it’s my top priority, but he doesn’t do my job. I know he understands the scope of my responsibilities, but after I get the work done that others rely on (payroll, invoicing, sales, etc) I feel so drained. To the point where calling and talking to applicants is a drag. It’s a dread. It’s a part of my work that requires very little, but due to my mind’s obsessions becomes a whole bundle.
