Writing this very late because I drank 32oz of beer and then smoked a black and mild (wine, wood tip). It was a reasonable buzz but I took each without the either so they didn’t really magnify each other. The Friday passed without much flavor beyond that. I am getting my first Covid vaccine tomorrow. I am looking forward to it as it means I’ll be one step closer to seeing my family. I find comfort in these late hours. The stillness mixed with the blanket of silence. Life exists even in the quiet. A dog barks and another responds.
