Left work early today to try and get some chores done but ended up having to schedule them out due to issues beyond my control. I didn’t mind all that much. The biggest thing for me was getting out of work. I have been insanely burnt out lately. I haven’t felt this way since college, and even then not in the same way. College burnout for me was always timed toward the end of the year when everything comes to a culmination and boils over. This felt much more like I had been running on fumes and then pushed even harder. In the end I could have taken the days off work to rest, but then I would have returned to a fuck ton of work and I think that would’ve just put me back at square one.
