Woke up, snoozed, went to work, did my best throughout the day. I have meetings every Tuesday and each week they come and go. Most of the time I am silent, letting others talk through issues that I find rather arbitrary. This is not to say they’re pointless, just nothing that concerns me. It’s always about procedure and never working conditions. “How do we standardize work so we can penalize you as soon as you step out of line,” rather than “how can we create working conditions that make you want to work and work well?” But hey, I’m still getting paid. However, I also had a nice walk with Amelia to the gas station. So the day wasn’t a total wash.
